JELANI

Jelani was born and raised in Jamaica, Queens, which is fitting as his family is from Jamaica, West Indies. A track & field sprinter and lifelong athlete, Jelani’s got speed in his blood (mom and dad were runners, and his older bro was a D1 sprinter). After running track at Temple University and graduating with a degree in kinesiology, Jelani has continued to (literally) run it. He’s ranked #1 nationwide in the M30 400m dash (plus top 10 WORLDWIDE in 2022) and is currently training to compete professionally for Team Jamaica. With his strong background in sports science and world-class training experience, Jelani brings both knowledge and firepower to the podium.
