Carla Woodburne

Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa Happiest on a Board in the water Dyslexic but she doesn't let it slow her down... unless she's reading Carla is a South African native that grew up surfing the shark-filled beaches of Cape Town. Now living on her 3rd continent, Carla’s accent is somewhat the perfect blend of South African, London, California and NJ. During her time in LA, Carla stumbled into a Boxing Gym and the rest is history. She immediately started trading her time at the beach for time inside the ring. Now you can find her at fighter training most of the week as she prepares for her first fight! As a theater major, Carla feels comfortable on the stage. But during a class, you are more likely to find her holding your bag and helping you work on your form. If you ask her about boxing, you might find yourself invited to a sparring session! This mom of 2 has been training Rumble for the last 2 years and can't wait to take her experiences to NYC!
