Laurie

What’s up, Morristown Rumble! My name is Laurie, born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I grew up playing sports and always loved the competition and camaraderie of team sports. As a mom, I had the privilege of raising my two amazing kids, Clare and Nate, while sharing my passion for fitness and team collaboration. I spent countless hours coaching their teams and cheering from the sidelines, and that experience solidified my love for fitness and community. Before becoming Coach Laurie, I had a rewarding 30+ year career as a dental hygienist. But fitness has always been my true calling. I’ve been living in NJ for 8 years now, and I absolutely love it here! A few fun facts: I’m a huge fan of bacon, Disney (especially Tinker Bell), and, of course, all things fitness!! I am a high energy trainer and I’m passionate about helping others transform their lives through fitness, both mentally and physically. My goal is to make fitness simple, accessible, and realistic for everyone all while bringing the PARTY to the room. I believe everyone deserves to be healthy and capable of exceeding their own expectations. I’ve been a personal and group fitness trainer since the early 2000s, and you’ll often find me cross-training in modalities like yoga, strength, cycling, running, and boxing. To challenge myself, I push my conditioning with 1 or 2 marathons each year. Running has become a favorite bonding activity with my husband as we explore new cities and beaches by foot. It's my time to unwind, listen to music, and clear my mind. Fitness is a spiritual practice for me as much as a physical one—it feeds my soul!! Why Rumble Boxing? I love the ‘All In’ mentality! Rumble is more than just a workout—it's an experience that blends lights, beats, and motivation in one kick ass workout. The staff, the coaches, and the community make it such a powerful force! Just facts: When I started hitting the bag, I discovered a whole new passion. The work at the bag is a leveled up experience, and I can’t wait to keep growing here at Rumble!” - “Spend more time with people that inspire you to do epic shit” - Coach Laurie
