My name is Marcela, and I am originally from Mexico City. After getting my Master's in Psychology, I moved to San Francisco in 2004 and lived there for 16 years (Go Warriors!!!). I’m a proud mom of a 27-year-old young woman who lives in San Francisco, and she is the love of my life. About ten years ago, I discovered my passion for boxing. I started taking boxing classes as a beginner, and suddenly, I couldn’t stop thinking about boxing, reading about it, watching films, studying, going to fights, and more! I decided to get private lessons, and that’s when my life changed; I discovered my absolute passion. I was lucky enough to have an extraordinary coach who guided me through the process and ingrained in me the love, passion, and respect for boxing. Soon enough, I found myself competing and sparring. Unfortunately, due to COVID I had to leave San Francisco and my beloved boxing family. I moved to Texas looking for a job opportunity, and I was able to find one in Austin. A few months after moving here, I found a boxing gym that welcomed me like a family and offered me my first boxing Coach opportunity. That's when I realized that I enjoy coaching as much as I enjoy boxing! Besides boxing, I have 20 years of experience in Luxury Boutiques as a Store Director! I am really honored to be a proud founding coach of Rumble Southpark Meadows, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me. I'm forever thankful and grateful for every single person I have crossed paths with through boxing. I'm so excited to join the team and can’t wait to Rumble with you!!! XOXO
